Rasheed Naz, a renowned Pakistani film and television actor, embarked on his television career in 1971, making his debut in a Pashto television play. Over the years, he has worked in numerous Pashto, Hindko, and Urdu language plays, showcasing his remarkable acting skills. His first Urdu play, "Aik Tha Gaoon", was released in 1973, followed by his breakthrough play "Namoos". Furthermore, he was part of Pakistan's first private television play "Dasht", which aired on N T M.
In 1988, Rasheed Naz made his foray into Pashto films with "Zama Jang" (also known as "Meri Jang" in Urdu). His first Urdu film was "Dakait", directed by Syed Noor. He also appeared in Shoaib Mansoor's critically acclaimed film "Khuda Ke Liye". Additionally, Rasheed Naz lent his voice to Shoaib Mansoor's video song "Ishq Mohabbat Apna Pan" alongside Iman Ali.
Rasheed Naz's impressive filmography also includes the Bollywood film "Baby" (2015),where he shared the screen with notable actors Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, and Madhurima Tuli.
