Born in Washington D.C., Raquel is the daughter of Frederick, an American soldier and war veteran, and Elizabeth Ann, a native of the United Kingdom. As an Army brat, Raquel's family, comprising seven siblings, relocated frequently, moving from one military station to another across the United States and around the world. This nomadic lifestyle has undoubtedly instilled in Raquel a sense of adaptability and exposure to diverse cultures.
Raquel's linguistic skills are impressive, with proficiency in multiple languages, including Spanish and Italian, acquired through her experiences living in various countries. Prior to pursuing her academic and professional endeavors, Raquel began modeling at the age of 16, signing with Marquee Talent© modeling agency in Dallas, Texas. She has since appeared in numerous fashion ads and runway shows in Dallas and New York City, honing her skills in the competitive modeling industry.
