Randall's diverse experiences and travels have provided a wealth of knowledge, adding great depth to his acting career. Growing up on a small, humble family cattle farm in rural North Georgia, he developed a strong foundation for his future endeavors.
After completing the ROTC program in college and serving a four-year tour of duty as an officer in the US Army in 1995, Randall returned home to Georgia and began working in his first degree field, Engineering, with a lucrative manufacturing plant. However, he soon realized that this path was not satisfying enough for him.
Randall and his wife, Jodi, sold their 36-acre farm and relocated from Northwest Georgia to Athens, Georgia in 1998 to attend the University of Georgia for further education. As a "non-traditional" student, he pursued a second degree in history while also exploring his secondary dormant passion, acting.
In Athens, Randall felt a new sense of freedom and a strong desire to pursue acting. He became heavily involved in community theatre and sought out background work in Road Trip (2000) and Unshackled (2000),both of which he was cast in on the spot for featured roles.
Randall's interest in acting continued to grow, and he enrolled in the Alliance Theatre Acting Program in Atlanta at night. After finishing his degree at UGA, he and his wife moved overseas to Dublin, Ireland, where he attended Trinity College and pursued an accelerated master's degree in Irish Medieval History.
By day, Randall attended Trinity College, and by night, he attended the renowned Gaiety School of Acting in Dublin. He continued to work extensively in background roles, principal roles in local Independent films, and stage work, as well as countless auditions in Dublin and throughout Ireland.
Randall's big break came when he landed a supporting role in the film Reign of Fire (2002),one of the biggest films ever to shoot in Ireland. He soon followed this with a role in the triple Academy Award-nominated film In America (2002),directed by Jim Sheridan.
Acting became Randall's full-time pursuit, and since returning to the US, he has been extremely busy with lead and supporting roles in numerous Independent feature and short films, television appearances, commercials, and corporate/industrial films, including Performance Anxiety (2003),Sandtown (2004),Strike the Tent (2004),and Critical Rescue (2003).
