Satyaprakash Srivastava, professionally known as Raju Srivastav, was a renowned Indian comedian and observational comedian, distinguished for his piercing scrutiny and exceptional comedic timing in his commentary on various aspects of Indian life.
Born in Kanpur, India, into a middle-class Kayastha family, Raju Srivastava's father, Rameshchandra Srivastava, was a celebrated poet, affectionately known as Balai Kaka. With a natural talent for mimicry, Raju nurtured his childhood dream of becoming a comedian, often imitating his teachers during school days. He gained initial recognition as an Amitabh Bachchan impressionist and went on to make his mark in the entertainment industry.
After moving to Mumbai (then Bombay),Raju Srivastava secured a small role in the blockbuster film Maine Pyar Kiya and subsequently appeared in numerous other films, albeit in minor capacities. His participation in Bigg Boss (Season 3),anchored by the legendary Amitabh Bachchan, further solidified his reputation as a talented comedian.
