Rajinikanth, a renowned superstar in the Tamil movie industry since the 1970s, has consistently been one of the highest earning actors in Asia. Primarily starring in Tamil movies, he has also made significant contributions to the Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Hollywood film industries. Born in Bangalore, India, Rajinikanth's journey in the film industry began with his employment as a bus conductor, which ultimately led him to join the prestigious Madras Film Institute.

Rajinikanth made his acting debut in the 1976 film "Katha Sangama" and quickly gained widespread recognition with his breakout role in "Apoorva Raagangal" (1975). His unique acting style, characterized by trademark gestures such as flipping a cigarette in the air and catching it with his mouth, has become iconic and has played a significant role in his enduring popularity.
