Queenie Watts was a talented English actress, singer, and pub owner, born Mary Spenton on July 21, 1923, in London. She began her career in the 1960s, appearing in numerous British films, including the Joan Littlewood production Sparrers Can't Sing in 1963 and the film version of Alfie in 1966.
