Prinya "Way" Intachai is a first-generation American-Thai individual born in Paterson, New Jersey, to a Thai couple whose families had previously immigrated to the United States. As the second son, Way spent his childhood in Brooklyn, New York, where he excelled in various sports, including baseball and track, and was actively involved in these activities.
Outside of sports, Way developed an interest in the performing arts, spending much of his free time watching movies and pretending to be different characters in the films. This early fascination with the performing arts would eventually become a significant aspect of his life.
After graduating from high school, Way embarked on what was intended to be a two-month trip to Bangkok, Thailand, to visit his family. During his stay, he formed friendships and began writing music, which quickly became a driving force in the Bangkok music scene. Within a remarkably short period of two years, Way had released a successful pop album and gained significant recognition.
As his popularity grew, Way decided to expand his horizons into the world of film and focus on acting. Leaving his music career behind, he relocated back to New York City at the age of 20, where he began studying acting and managed to secure a few roles in independent films. However, he soon became dissatisfied with the pace of his progress in the acting world and decided to return to Bangkok in the hopes of finding more substantial roles in Hollywood films being produced in Thailand.
Upon his return to Thailand, Way rediscovered his passion for music and has since become an integral part of the award-winning group Thaitanium, widely regarded as one of the pioneers of Asian urban music and hip-hop. As Thaitanium's popularity grew, both in Thailand and throughout the region, Way continued to develop his acting career, auditioning for various roles and landing parts in both Thai and US independent films.
Throughout his career, Way has achieved considerable success as an actor, musician, and model, enjoying a multifaceted career that has spanned multiple continents and industries.
