Precious Kofi is a renowned South African actress, who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry, particularly through her own TV show, "Keeping It Real With Precious".
Born in Alice, Eastern Cape, Precious grew up in Queenstown, Ciskei, before relocating to Mandela Park, Hout Bay, Cape Town, where she attended Korendal Primary School. She began her primary education in a new environment, surrounded by new people and experiences.
After completing primary school in 2000, Precious proceeded to Camps Bay High School, where she finished her high school education in 2005. During her high school years, she developed a passion for drama, which would later become a crucial aspect of her career.
In 2006, Precious's life took a dramatic turn when she was cast as a host in the TV show "Hip 2B Square" on SABC 2's Tube. Her exceptional hosting skills and charisma caught the attention of the producers, who subsequently offered her her own talk show, "Keeping It Real With Precious", which she has been hosting ever since.
Apart from her talk show, Precious has appeared in several TV shows, including guest roles in "Without A Trace", "TshaTsha", and "Zone 14". She has also been a host for SABC2's Summer Games in 2006 and was cast as one of the lead voice characters, Keitu, in the animated series "URBO: The Adventures Of Pax Africa", which premiered in South Africa on September 30, 2006.
In 2007, Precious starred in the drama series "Divers Down" on SABC1, which tells the story of a group of young recruits who join the Navy. The series premiered on February 5, 2007.
Additionally, Precious co-hosted the youth magazine programme "EMS Volume 1" when it premiered on SABC1 on October 2, 2007.
