Pramod, a native of Amritsar, Indian Punjab, was born in 1955. His educational journey began in Kapurthala, where he received his primary and secondary schooling, as well as his higher education. During his college days, Pramod was actively involved in college plays and, along with like-minded individuals such as Lalit Behl, Satish Sharma, and Ravi Deep, founded a group that revolutionized the theatre scene in Kapurthala, transforming the small town into a hub of artistic activities.
Following the completion of his postgraduate diploma in Indian Theatre from Punjab University, Chandigarh, Pramod went on to pursue a successful acting career, appearing in numerous stage plays, TV serials, TV plays, and telefilms across Punjab and Delhi. He had the privilege of working with renowned directors such as Shila Bhatia, Amal Allana, Nadira Babbar, and Ram Gopal Bajaj, further honing his craft. Eventually, Pramod made the move to Mumbai, joining the film industry and embarking on a new chapter in his illustrious career.
