As an actress, she is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Safar Khan in the HBO miniseries "The Night Of" and her role as Nalini Vishwakumar in the Netflix teen comedy series "Never Have I Ever" created by Mindy Kaling.
In addition to her acting career, Jagannathan is also a producer and has initiated, produced, and acted in the play "Nirbhaya," written and directed by Yaël Farber.
