As her film career gained momentum, she simultaneously launched her stage career, making her Broadway debut in 1938 as Calpurnia in Orson Welles' acclaimed production of "Julius Caesar". With her versatility and talent, she went on to maintain a busy career, alternating between performances in the United States and England. Some of her notable stage appearances include acting in "Time Out For Ginger", "Richard III", "No Strings", and as the commanding Vera Charles in "Auntie Mame" in New York City. In addition to her stage success, she also made notable television appearances in "The Defenders" and "Alfred Hitchcock Presents".
