Biography

Here is the biography of PJ:

Born in San Diego in the mid-1970s, PJ's family relocated to South Western Pennsylvania before his first birthday. At the age of three, he suffered a severe dog bite requiring 650 stitches and plastic surgery along his neck.

Growing up with divorced parents, who lived one block apart, allowed PJ to experience two distinct environments concurrently. He credits this unique upbringing for his good nature.

Throughout his childhood, PJ was involved in various activities, including football, martial arts, acting in school plays, cooking, and working with his father's plumbing business. He also served as president of his local VICA group at the Western Area Vocational Technical School, where he studied Engineering-Related Technology.

After high school, PJ attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, initially pursuing a degree in industrial engineering. However, he soon switched to Film/Video/Animation and became president of his class and department. During his time at RIT, he was a writer and editor at the student-run magazine, worked as a DJ, actor, and crew member on local independent films and videos, and published poetry multiple times.

PJ spent a summer interning at Nickelodeon's On-Air promos department in New York City and was later hired as a freelance producers assistant. After graduating from RIT with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he worked as a broadcast engineer for the local PBS affiliate and directed several shorts and a feature.

He then worked as an apprentice to a gaffer in Boston, honing his lighting skills, and later gaffed his first feature, Dance By Design. PJ returned to Rochester, NY, where he worked for several local and national companies, eventually joining the staff of SEVideo as a shooter, editor, producer, and director.

After marrying Cindy Carle, PJ moved to Los Angeles, where he joined IATSE Local 728 as a set lighting technician and directed several spec commercials. He later formed his own production company, Goat Milk Fudge Productions, and continues to direct commercial and industrial shoots.
