Pierre Gill, a renowned cinematographer, embarked on his illustrious career at the tender age of 24 by establishing Kino Films, a prominent Montreal-based production company that has successfully produced hundreds of commercials and music videos.
Throughout his distinguished career, Gill has had the privilege of collaborating with numerous respected international directors in the realms of cinema and television, including the acclaimed Denis Villeneuve, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, and Jean-Marc Vallée, among many others.
Gill's impressive body of work boasts a diverse array of projects, including the notable "Dune Prophecy", Disney+'s "Percy Jackson", and Netflix's "Dead Boy Detectives", in which he served as the main Director of Photography.
His remarkable achievements have earned him an astonishing 45+ honors, comprising nominations and awards from both the American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) and the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC),as well as prestigious accolades from international film festivals.
In addition to his numerous accolades, Gill was awarded the coveted Kodak New Century Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the art of cinematography.
