Philip James McGoldrick is a renowned and accomplished British-European film director, writer, and producer, hailing from Warsaw, born in 1987.
Following his academic excellence, Philip graduated with honors from the prestigious RITCS film academy in Brussels, which led to a coveted scholarship to pursue Directing Fiction at The National Film & Television School in the UK.
Throughout his illustrious career, Philip's film work has garnered an impressive 50+ international award nominations.
One of his notable achievements is the short film 'Siemiany', which won the prestigious Premiers Plans Grand Prix de Jury and the Paris Shorts' 'Best Director' award, and was also nominated for the Crystal Bear at the 2010 Berlinale.
In 2018, Philip took on a new challenge by directing the UK theatrical premier of the play 'Mariage Blanc', penned by the legendary Polish playwright Tadeusz Rozewicz.
Currently, Philip is developing his first feature film, generously supported by the Flanders Audiovisual Fund, while also working on a feature-length documentary titled 'Born of Violence'.
