Phil Comeau is a Canadian director who splits his time between Montreal and Moncton, having directed over 100 productions across both drama and documentary genres throughout his career.
His first commercial feature drama, "Jerome's Secret", won an impressive 15 international awards, setting the stage for his future success.
He went on to direct several TV movies, including "Teen Knight" and "The Crash of the Century", as well as popular TV series such as "Emily of New Moon", which won a Gemini award, "Pit Pony", "Lassie" (a remake),and "Tribu.com", which took home a Gemeaux award in Quebec.
In the realm of docudrama series, Comeau directed the hit series "Mayday" (also known as "Air Disasters" and "Air Crash investigations"),"The Definitive Guide", and "The New Detectives".
In addition to his work in television, Comeau has also directed and written five feature-length documentaries: "The Secret Order", "The Nature of Frederic Back", "Zachary Richard Cajun Heart", "Acadian Music Wave", and "Secretariat's Jockey Ron Turcotte".
