At the tender age of 17, he joined the prestigious National Youth Theatre, which served as a stepping stone for his future endeavors. He then went on to hone his craft at Central, before venturing to New York to study under the esteemed Uta Hagen.
Sullivan's thirst for knowledge and experience led him to The Actors' Studio, where he refined his skills and gained valuable insights into the craft. His next significant move was becoming a member of the renowned Catalan theatre group, La Fura Dels Baus, which marked a significant milestone in his career. Over the course of three decades, Sullivan has had the privilege of playing numerous leading roles in film and television, both in the US, UK, and Europe.
What's more, he has been a loyal member of the National Theatre for over 30 years, a testament to his unwavering dedication to his craft. Sullivan's impressive linguistic skills are another feather in his cap, as he is fluent in four languages, which has allowed him to perform in all of them.
