Biography

The subject's early life was marked by a childhood spent in a grand Victorian residence with his parents and siblings, where he resided until the tender age of seven. Following his departure from the educational system at the age of fifteen, he embarked on a journey to hone his craft by enrolling in a prestigious drama school. Upon completing his course, he went on to experience a series of stints in classical theatre, as well as securing supporting roles in various films. It was, however, his portrayal of the Earl of Southampton in the television serial "Elizabeth R," starring the renowned Glenda Jackson, that catapulted him to fame. His impressive resume boasts appearances in other notable series, including "Woman of Substance," "Paradise Postponed," "Reilly, Ace of Spies," and "Ever Decreasing Circles."

In his personal life, the subject is married to the former actress Myra Francis, whom he met during their time together in the esteemed Organisation. The union has been blessed with a daughter, Rebecca, born in the year 1972. The family resides in the picturesque London suburb of Chiswick.
