Growing up, Peter's family embarked on a series of international moves, spending three formative years in Namibia before relocating to Sierra Leone, West Africa, where they resided for an extended period of eight years. This childhood experience likely had a profound impact on Peter's worldview and shaped his perspective on the world.
As he entered adulthood, Peter's family made the move to the United Kingdom, where he would eventually establish his own documentary production company, Wildfilm Australia, in 1983. This entrepreneurial venture allowed him to pursue his passion for storytelling and filmmaking.
