Pete Alexander, a talented individual of Greek and Macedonian descent, was born in Toronto. He has always been passionate about storytelling and took the first step towards realizing his dream by moving to New York City at an early stage of his career to train at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in 2012.
Since then, Pete has built a diverse portfolio in television and film, with notable performances as Steve in The Strain in 2015 and Lt. Arrigo Jezzi in Close Encounters in 2015. His recent work includes roles in Silent Treatment in 2022, Josephine in 2023, and UnderMind in 2024.
In addition to his acting career, Pete has also made significant contributions as a producer, including his work on UnderMind and the short comedy Crispy.
Pete's dedication to his craft has earned him numerous accolades. He won the Best Ensemble Cast and Audience Choice awards for Silent Treatment at the 48 Hour Film Project, Toronto in 2022. In 2023, his film Josephine received multiple accolades, including Best Film and Audience Choice at the 48 Hour Film Project, Toronto, and the 48 Hour Film Project Global Award for Audience Choice for Best Film at Filmapalooza 2024.
Pete was also nominated for Best Actor for his performance in UnderMind at the Toronto 48 Hour Film Project.
