Perry Andelin Blake, a talented individual, was born and raised in Los Angeles, the grandson of a renowned Hollywood scenic artist and painter. After completing his Master's degree in architecture from Harvard University, Blake returned to his hometown to work under the guidance of the legendary architect Frank Gehry. He spent several years honing his skills in architecture before transitioning to the world of commercial set design, collaborating with prominent brands such as Coca-Cola and Nike, as well as the iconic 'Got Milk' campaign.
Blake's work in set design eventually led him to explore the realm of filmmaking, where he designed the sets for the Oscar-nominated short film 'Birch Street Gym'. This marked the beginning of a long-standing collaboration with the acclaimed actor and comedian Adam Sandler, with whom he co-created several iconic films, including the early favorites 'Billy Madison', 'Happy Gilmore', and 'The Wedding Singer', as well as later hits like 'Click' and 'Just Go with It'.
In recent years, Blake has designed numerous films for Netflix, including Sandler's 'Hustle' and the 'Murder Mystery' franchise. He has also directed the family-friendly comedy 'Master of Disguise', starring Dana Carvey, as well as serving as the Second Unit director on many of his films. As a member of the Art Directors Guild, the Directors Guild of America, and the Academy of Arts and Sciences, Blake has made significant contributions to the film industry.
