Robinson, James Cagney, and Humphrey Bogart, with his portrayal of a "bad boy" character that was both tough and charming. He possessed a magnetic attraction, but was also vulnerable and prone to begging and pleading for his life, showcasing his remarkable thespian skills.
Whether on stage or screen, Verwayen consistently delivered outstanding performances, earning him a reputation as a force to be reckoned with.
