Biography

Spanish writer and director, his professional career has been predominantly focused on documentary filmmaking, a dedication that has been met with numerous accolades and prizes throughout his career. Notably, he received the prestigious Goya award for best short documentary film for "Return to Viridiana" in 2014. Additionally, his work "Nostromo: David Lean's impossible dream" earned him an impressive five Gold Medals at the New York Film Festivals in 2017. Furthermore, he was nominated for the Goya award for best documentary and secured two Gold Medals at the New York Film Festivals for "When Better Davis bid farewell" in 2015. His impressive array of awards also includes various Promax and BDA awards.

Throughout his illustrious career, he has produced a multitude of television programs for prominent networks such as TCM Spain, TNT Spain, and CNN, as well as a diverse range of documentaries.
