Born into an acting family, his parents being Irena Telesz-Burska and Stefan Burczyk, he is a graduate of the Warsaw Academy of Theatre Arts, which he completed in 1992. It was also in that same year that he made his theatrical debut. Initially, he appeared in front of the camera in 1979, in one of the episodes of the serial "W słońcu i w deszczu". He gained popularity thanks to his role as Luksus in the television comedy series "13 posterunek".
