Paul Michael Glaser, a multifaceted American actor and director, was born Paul Manfred Glaser on March 25, 1943, with a remarkable career spanning decades.

His most iconic role to date is undoubtedly Detective Dave Starsky on the 1970s television series, Starsky & Hutch, which catapulted him to stardom.

When not busy writing and directing, Glaser has demonstrated his versatility by taking on various roles, including Captain Jack Steeper on the NBC series Third Watch, from 2004 to 2005.
