Biography

Paul Lukather, a renowned actor with a storied career spanning over four decades, has made a profound impact on the world of entertainment. After honing his craft at a prestigious drama school, Paul embarked on a journey that would take him to the stages of the Barter Theatre, where he played the iconic role of MacBeth.

As his career progressed, Paul's impressive range and versatility led him to work in numerous projects across film, television, and voice-over work. For over two decades, he made a name for himself in television and film, appearing in a plethora of productions that showcased his remarkable acting abilities.

It was during the late 1980s and early 1990s that Paul began to explore the world of voice-over work, lending his talents to projects such as A Pup Named Scooby-Doo (1988) and The Pirates of Dark Water (1991). These early forays into voice-over work laid the groundwork for his most iconic role, that of Vorador the vampire elder, which he brought to life in the video game Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain (1996).

Paul's portrayal of Vorador became synonymous with the character, and he went on to reprise the role in several subsequent video games, including Soul Reaver 2 (2001),Blood Omen 2 (2002),and Legacy of Kain: Defiance (2003). His work on the Legacy of Kain series cemented his status as a master of voice-over acting.

In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Paul was a passionate advocate for equestrian sports and founded The Brass Ring, a non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of the disabled and handicapped. This charitable endeavor was made possible with the support of his wife, Elizabeth, and friend Paul Hughes of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder's Association.

After retiring from the entertainment industry in 2008, Paul dedicated his remaining years to humanitarian work, leaving behind a legacy that extends far beyond his impressive body of work. Paul Lukather passed away on October 9, 2014, leaving behind his wife Elizabeth Burt and their child.
