Paul Chronnell is a multifaceted creative individual who has made a name for himself as a produced screenwriter, published author, and playwright.
Born in Manchester, Paul graduated from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Drama. He then spent the next ten years working with a theatre company in South Wales, appearing in over 40 productions, honing his craft and developing his skills as a performer.
During this time, he also began writing for various prime time comedy shows, including Spitting Image, Hale & Pace, Russ Abbot, Brian Conley, Planet Mirth, and Talking Balls, showcasing his ability to craft engaging and humorous content.
Paul's full-length feature film credits are impressive, with notable works including Four, Airborne, and Endangered Species, demonstrating his versatility and range as a screenwriter.
In addition to his work in film, Paul has also written the award-winning short film Waiting For Time, which was produced during the first UK lockdown.
He has optioned and developed scripts with various production companies, including Zero Gravity, Goldfinch, and Sharon Maguire, further solidifying his reputation as a talented and in-demand screenwriter.
Paul's original play, Millstones, was forced to cancel its debut national tour in 2020 due to the pandemic, but it has since enjoyed a successful industry sharing, starring Michael Maloney and Marcus Brigstocke, and is now seeking production partners.
Most recently, Paul has published his first novel, The RSVPeople, marking a new chapter in his career as a published author.
