Paul Byrom, a renowned tenor from Dublin, Ireland, was born on April 11, 1979. Throughout his illustrious career, he has had the privilege of performing for esteemed dignitaries, including Irish President Mary McAleese, Japanese Emperor Akihito, President Barack Obama, and Taoiseach Brian Cowen, as well as at iconic venues such as Dublin's Croke Park, Pittsburgh's Heinz Field, and the New York St. Patrick's Day Parade.
As Ireland's Premier Young Tenor, Paul has achieved remarkable success, with consecutive sell-out solo concerts at the National Concert Hall in 2006, 2007, and 2008. He has also appeared on the popular TV ratings hit series 'Celebrity Jigs & Reels', reaching the final, and made his TV acting debut on Ireland's top-rated soap, Fair City. Paul has made numerous appearances on Ireland AM, showcasing his versatility as a performer.
Paul has released two solo albums, "Velvet" in 2005 and "I'll Be Home For Christmas" in 2008, both of which have received critical acclaim. In fact, Phil Coulter and Sharon Browne invited Paul to join the ensemble of Celtic Thunder, a group that has released four CDs and has plans for several more.
As an ambassador for the Irish-based charity GOAL, Paul has been instrumental in raising funds for their relief efforts in the Third World. He has visited Calcutta, where much of the charity's work is done, and hopes to continue his efforts to raise awareness of the charity's goals and ambitions.
