Biography

Andresen's professional journey began when he was hired by Psychopathic Records to direct the documentary Shockumentary in 1997. This project chronicled the making of Insane Clown Posse's album "The Great Milenko" and followed an ICP fan's travels across the country to attend one of their concerts.

Five years later, Andresen collaborated with Psychopathic Records once again to create Born Twiztid: Beyond the Freekshow, a documentary that delved into the background of the rap duo Twiztid. The year 2004 marked Andresen's foray into narrative filmmaking with Psychopathic, as he directed the comedy-horror short film Bowling Balls, which served as the long-form music video for ICP's song of the same name.

The film depicted ICP as the proprietors of a bed and breakfast who murder their guests. In 2008, Andresen shot his first two feature films for Psychopathic Records. The first was the documentary A Family Underground, which explored the Gathering of the Juggalos festival and featured interviews with performers such as Ice-T and Afroman.

A Family Underground examined the Juggalo community in a sociopolitical context and was followed by the Western comedy spoof Big Money Rustlas in 2010. This film starred the entire Psychopathic roster, as well as Mark Jury, Jason Mewes, Ron Jeremy, Bridget Powers, and Cindie Haynie. Big Money Rustlas was a parody of Western tropes that blended the influence of Looney Tunes with American and Spaghetti Westerns.

Andresen's third feature film with Psychopathic Records was American Psycho Tour, a documentary that documented a ICP/Twiztid concert tour in 2012.
