Biography

Patrick Taulere, a renowned director, producer, and writer, was born in Perpignan, France, and spent his childhood in the picturesque village of Le Perthus, situated on the border of France and Spain. He later attended the prestigious University of La Sorbonne and Orsay in Paris, France. At the age of 20, Taulere made the bold decision to move to Hollywood to pursue his passion for film, graduating from Art Center in Pasadena as an honored film major.

With a career spanning over four decades, Taulere has garnered numerous awards and accolades, including Emmy, Aurora, Telly, and Cine Golden Eagle awards. He began his directing career in Hollywood in 1982, working on television, motion pictures, and advertising projects.

Throughout his illustrious career, Taulere has directed or produced numerous prime-time series, pilots, and specials for major studios such as Paramount, Universal, Fox, and MGM. His impressive portfolio includes shows like "Sightings," "Arrest & Trial," "Scariest Places on Earth," and "Scandals Hollywood Style."

Taulere has also worked extensively with television networks, directing or producing prime-time series and specials for CBS, NBC, ABC, and other networks. Some of his notable projects include "Unsolved Mysteries," "Name Your Adventure," "Signs of Fear," and "The Investigators."

In addition to his work in television, Taulere has directed or produced prime-time docudrama films for cable networks like The History Channel, Discovery Channel, Lifetime, and PAX. His credits also include corporate films, music videos, and national commercials for the USA and abroad markets.

As an executive producer and director, Taulere has worked on episodes of Trutv's series "The Investigators" and "Dominick Dunne's Power, Privilege & Justice," produced by his company Art 7 Films (formerly Meteorite films). He is a member of the Directors Guild of America, SACD (The French Director's & Writer's society),and The Academy of Television Arts and Science.
