Biography

Patrick Pinney, born on June 30, 1952, is a renowned American actor and voice actor. His journey began in Los Angeles, California, where he pursued higher education at the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. During his time at the university, he formed lasting friendships with assistant director Michele Panelli Venetis and costumer Alison Barnwell Morris, with whom he co-starred in the play "The Deputy" at the UOP Rotunda Theatre.

Pinney's academic pursuits at the University of the Pacific also led him to share a room with producer/director Dennis Jones, with whom he studied theatre. This marked the beginning of his passion for the performing arts, which would later take him to stages in both the United States and Europe.

As his career progressed, Pinney relocated to Los Angeles, where he continued to hone his craft by performing in various plays. One notable instance was when he played three distinct characters in a single production. Following this, he was approached by a producer who offered him a chance to work in animation, specifically in a Hanna-Barbera production.

This marked the beginning of Pinney's transition from a serious stage actor to a voice actor. He went on to work on various projects, including the film Harry & the Hendersons.

Throughout his illustrious career, Pinney has lent his voice to numerous characters. Some of his most notable roles include Cyclops in Disney's Hercules, Wormguy and Idikiukup in the Men and Black Series, and Painty The Pirate from the opening theme of SpongeBob SquarePants. He has also contributed to the voice casts of Mulan, Toy Story, Aladdin, and Ducktales The Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp.
