Patrick J. Thomas, a talented American actor, holds dual citizenship of both Germany and the United States. Born in Stuttgart, Germany, to a German civil servant father and a U.S. Army officer mother, he is the first of their three children.
Due to his father's career in the U.S. Army, Patrick's family relocated to over a dozen different locations around the world during his early years. This nomadic upbringing made him close to his family, but he never developed a strong sense of belonging to a particular place. As a result, Patrick grew up bilingual, speaking both English and German as his mother tongue, and attended both American and European schools until he received his vocational diploma.
Patrick's early school days introduced him to his passion for the performing arts and magic. At the age of 15, he had the opportunity to meet and perform alongside magician David Copperfield on one of his tours. Patrick remains active in the magic field and is currently producing a stage show.
As Patrick turned 18, he made his movie debut in the German feature film "Unveiled," playing the role of a refugee. At 20, he relocated to Miami, Florida, and spent three years studying acting at the Greenwich Film Studios. During this time, he acted in numerous productions shot in Florida, including "Burn Notice" and "Son of Morning."
Today, Patrick divides his time between Europe and the United States, working on various projects. In 2013, he starred alongside Lance Henriksen in the 3D horror/slasher film "Fangoria Presents: Sin Reaper," which was distributed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and Japan. Patrick was also cast in the thriller "Blissestrasse" in 2011, directed by Canadian producer Paul Donovan, and reprised his role in Donovan's newest Canadian television series "Clay's POV" on Super Channel (Canada) in 2014.
