Paris Themmen, a former child actor, was born on June 25th, 1959, in Boston, Massachusetts, a city famously referred to as the "Hub" of the Universe, to parents who were both classical musicians.
Young Paris first stepped onto the stage in 1965, during his parents' summer stock performance in Michigan. Following the summer season's closure, the family returned to New York, where Themmen's mother sought an agent for the budding young actor.
Paris's on-screen career commenced with a TV commercial for bubble bath, marking the beginning of over two score TV and radio commercials and voice overs.
On stage in New York City during the late 1960s, Themmen appeared in the classic Euripides play "Iphegenia in Aulis" at the Circle in the Square Theatre, alongside Irene Papas, during the 1967-68 season. He also served as a replacement in the long-running Broadway musical "Mame" in 1968, supporting Ann Miller in the title role.
In 1970, Paris appeared in the first adaptation of Roald Dahl's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory", playing the role of "Mike Tee Vee" in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971).
Subsequently, he appeared on Broadway in the musical "The Rothschilds", serving as a replacement in the role of Young Jacob Rothschild, and continued on in the role for the national tour.
As Paris entered adolescence, he abandoned his child acting career at the age of 14. He then attended New York University, where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree.
In his professional life, Paris has worked in a variety of roles, including Real Estate Broker, Walt Disney Imagineer, and Financial Advisor, as well as running commercial casting sessions in Los Angeles.
