Biography

Paige Turco was born on May 17, 1965, in Boston, Massachusetts, and was only a year old when her father passed away. Her mother subsequently moved them to Springfield, Massachusetts, where Paige's early life took a dramatic turn.

As a child, Paige's passion was ballet, and she studied diligently to become a professional dancer. She performed as a soloist with several esteemed companies, including the New England Dance Conservatory, The Amherst Ballet Theatre Company, and the Western Massachusetts Ballet Company. However, a devastating ankle injury at the age of 14 forced her to abandon her dreams of a dancing career.

Undeterred, Paige refocused her energy on drama and musical comedies, eventually graduating from the University of Connecticut with a degree in drama.

Paige's early foray into television was marked by her appearances in the soap operas Guiding Light and All My Children. Her breakout role came in 1989 when she starred in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film series.

After leaving the soap operas, Paige ventured into film, starring in a range of movies, including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, The November Conspiracy, and Vibrations.

Paige's television career continued to flourish, with lead roles in the critically acclaimed series American Gothic and The Agency. In between, she appeared in numerous independent films and made guest appearances in popular television shows such as NYPD Blue, Party of Five, The Fugitive, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.

In her personal life, Paige met and fell in love with her American Gothic co-star, John Mese, and the couple became engaged. Although they later parted ways, Paige continued to work with Mese in several projects, including Dark Tides and R2PC: Road to Park City.

Throughout her career, Paige has demonstrated her versatility and range, effortlessly transitioning between film and television. Her latest projects, The Empath and Rhinoceros Eyes, showcase her continued dedication to her craft.
