Orlando Braun is a renowned Canadian film and television producer, celebrated for his outstanding work in the industry. His films have garnered widespread recognition, having been showcased at numerous prestigious festivals worldwide, and have earned dozens of prestigious awards. Throughout his diverse and accomplished career, Braun has had the privilege of working in virtually every genre, including documentary, factual, drama, comedy, sitcom, horror, true crime, food series, children's animation, and faith projects, across a range of formats, including features, shorts, and series.
Braun's journey into the industry began with his formal education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Film at the University of Manitoba, followed by a Master of Fine Arts in Producing from the esteemed New York Film Academy in Universal Studios, California. His academic achievements were complemented by his selection for the Telefilm Canada Producers Mentorship in 2012, courtesy of the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA),and his completion of the National Screen Institute's Business for Producers program.
In addition to his academic credentials, Braun has had the opportunity to collaborate with industry giants, including Robert DeNiro's Tribeca Film, Manage-Ment (Garden State),Platinum Studios (Cowboys & Aliens),and Film Independent (Spirit Awards, LA Film Festival).
