Onur Tuna, a talented individual, was born on July 2, 1985, in Çanakkale, Turkey. His maternal lineage hails from Thessaloniki, Greece, where his ancestors immigrated from. His mother, a retired official from the land office, and his father, a mathematics teacher, have both played a significant role in shaping his life.
Onur's academic journey began at Dokuz Eylül University's Faculty of Economics, where he completed his undergraduate education. Additionally, he pursued his passion for Turkish classical music at Ege University Conservatory. As a multi-talented individual, Onur is also a skilled guitarist, having composed two songs, Acın Verdi and Tıpkı Sen.
Throughout his school years, Onur was actively involved in sports, excelling in licensed volleyball and basketball. He also took part in theater plays, honing his acting skills from a young age. During his university years in İzmir, Onur worked as a professional model for four years, further developing his confidence and stage presence.
To refine his acting abilities, Onur studied at the Izmir Müjdat Gezen Art Center and took private lessons from renowned acting coaches, including Ümit Çırak, Ayla Algan, Craft Theatre, and Saim Güveloğlu. These training sessions focused on method and front-camera acting skills.
Onur's acting career began with the Turkish TV series Hayat Devam Ediyor (Life Goes On) in 2011. He then went on to appear in other notable TV series, including Huzur Sokağı (Street of Peace),Filinta, Cesur Yürek (Brave Heart),Yasak Elma, and Mucize Doktor (Miracle Doctor).
Onur has also made his mark in Turkish cinema, starring in two films. In 2014, he played a leading role in the drama film Bi Küçük Eylül Meselesi, and later appeared in the romantic drama Ağır Romantik (Heavy Romance or Severe Romantic).
