Biography

Omari Washington, a native of Chicago, has always been driven by a deep passion for bringing characters to life on and off the screen. His acting journey began at the tender age of 12, when he first stepped onto the stage, and since then, he has never looked back. With an unwavering dedication to his craft, Omari made the bold decision to relocate 1,700 miles to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue his dreams of becoming a successful actor.

Just a year after his relocation, Omari landed his first lead role as "Mack" in the Lionsgate action feature film Assassin's Game, starring alongside Tom Sizemore and Vivica A. Fox. This was followed by another notable lead role as "Carl" in the horror feature film Bunnyman Vengeance, showcasing his versatility as an actor.

As Omari's career continued to gain momentum, he went on to secure lead roles in over 20 short films, earning him industry recognition and paving the way for larger auditions. With the support of a skilled manager, Omari landed five co-star roles in major network shows, including All-American (CW),Lethal Weapon (Fox),Good Trouble (Freeform),The Bold and The Beautiful (CBS),and Pink Collar Crimes (CBS).

Beyond his impressive acting career, Omari has also ventured into producing, with projects including short films and web series. One of his most notable productions is the award-winning short film Gracefully Broken, which he wrote, executive produced, and starred in, winning over 20 awards worldwide for Best Drama Short. Additionally, Omari earned four Best Actor awards for his portrayal of "Alex" in the film, solidifying his reputation as a talented actor.

Omari's impressive awards tally also includes five nominations, and he has won a total of 12 Best Actor awards in his career thus far. His most recent project is a feature film he co-wrote, executive produced, directed, and starred in as "Kevin", titled Back Burner. The dramedy follows the story of a sous chef with a burning desire to win the Yum Network contest and become the next culinary superstar, despite working for an executive chef who doubts his abilities.
