This marked the beginning of his academic odyssey, which would eventually lead him to earn a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts.
As his intellectual pursuits continued to unfold, Omar's academic trajectory took a new turn as he pursued his Master of Fine Arts degree at the renowned USC School of Cinematic Arts. His focus remained steadfast on the art of direction and production, laying the groundwork for a promising career in the film industry.
Omar's directorial debut, "Jihad in Hollywood", has garnered significant attention, with the film now being showcased on Al Jazeera. His subsequent project, "al imam", has also made a notable impact, premiering on PBS. Based in Hollywood, Omar's creative vision is centered on crafting diverse stories that transcend religious and regional boundaries, promoting a sense of unity and understanding among audiences worldwide.
