Olga Vodin, born Olga Nedovodina on November 23, 1972, in Krasnodar, southern Russia, was surrounded by the world of ballet and theater from a young age. Her father, a lead ballet dancer in the Krasnodar Theater of Operetta, exposed her to the city's vibrant cultural scene.
Olga's early training in ballet, acting, and piano laid the foundation for her future career. She was accepted into the prestigious Shchukin Theatrical School, affiliated with the Vakhtangov Theater in Moscow, where she studied the methods of Stanislavsky, Chekhov, and Vakhtangov.
During her time in Moscow, Olga honed her craft, working on stage productions and appearing in several Russian-made films, including "Spirits of Hell," "Zone of Freedom," "Your Fingers Smell Like Incense," and "Nastya." In 1993, she graduated with a Master's Degree in Theater and Acting.
After marrying an American and moving to California with her new husband, Olga continued her acting career while raising her first child. She adopted the stage name Olga Vodina and appeared in American productions such as "American Cop," "Dangerous Cargo," "Swimsuit: The Movie," and a guest role in the TV show "Marker."
In the 2000s, Olga shifted her focus from acting to co-producing several stage shows, including one in St. Petersburg, Russia. She has two children from her first marriage, which ended in divorce, and one from her second marriage. Olga and her second husband currently reside in Puget Sound, Washington, USA.
