Norbert Jacques, a renowned writer of his time, took his first breath on the sixth day of June in the year eighteen hundred and eighty, in the charming town of Eich, nestled within the borders of Luxembourg.
Throughout his illustrious career, Jacques gained widespread recognition for his thought-provoking literary works, including the notable "The Testament of Dr. Mabuse" published in 1933, "Dr. Mabuse, the Gambler" released in 1922, and the more recent adaptation "Doctor Mabuse" in 2013.
Jacques' personal life was marked by a series of marriages, first to Maria Jäger, then to Margerite Samuely, and finally to Olga Hübner.
Tragically, Jacques' life came to a close on the fifteenth day of May in the year nineteen hundred and fifty-four, in the German city of Koblenz, situated within the picturesque region of Rhineland-Palatinate.
