Nita Strauss is an American guitarist, renowned for her work with the all-female Iron Maiden tribute band The Iron Maidens, as well as her collaborations with various rock ensembles such as Femme Fatale and the LA Kiss musical backing group.
Her illustrious career has seen her take on the role of guitarist for American hard rock musician Alice Cooper, replacing Orianthi in June 2014. This appointment marked a significant milestone in her career, as she was ranked #1 on Guitar World's list of '10 Female Guitar Players You Should Know'.
Born into a family with a rich musical heritage, Nita's ancestry boasts the Austrian composer Johann Strauss, a distant relative on her father's side. This cultural legacy has undoubtedly influenced her musical inclinations and contributed to her exceptional guitar-playing skills.
In June 2014, Nita was announced as the replacement for Orianthi as Alice Cooper's touring guitarist for the 2014 tour dates, a role she continues to fulfill to this day.
