Biography

Nina Stakz is an ascending Atlanta-based Writer/Director, whose professional trajectory began in broadcast television, where she worked for esteemed NBC and CBS news affiliates, before transitioning to the realm of filmmaking, drawing inspiration from visionary directors such as Spike Lee and Hype Williams.

During her formative years, Stakz refined her craft on numerous music video sets, collaborating with prominent artists like Akon, Janelle Monae, and Gucci Mane, thereby cultivating a distinctive flair for authentic urban storytelling.

This innate ability to convey genuine, relatable narratives ultimately prompted Stakz to venture into feature-length filmmaking, commencing with the direction of a short film in 2018.

As Stakz continued to hone her skills, she produced a series of short films and web-based content, which subsequently earned her a plethora of film festival accolades and a devoted fan base on YouTube.
