Nina Rakovec

Notable Slovenian actress, born in the charming city of Kranj, where she also completed her high school education. Her initial foray into the world of theatre occurred during her second year at Kranj's renowned Preseren's Theatre. Subsequently, she landed an episodic role in the popular television series, One and A Half Star Hotel. Following her high school graduation, she enrolled at the prestigious Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television (AGRFT),where she remained actively involved in various projects outside of her academic pursuits. During this period, she contributed to the production of several short films, including Administrator, Trieste Is Ours, and Srecko, as well as TV dramas such as Our Democracy and TV-movies like Hidden memory of Angela Vode. Her feature film debut was marked by her portrayal of Nina in Lapajne's Personal Luggage. She has also collaborated with notable directors, including Nejc Gazvoda on the feature films Dual and A Trip, as well as Marko Santic on the TV-film Seduce Me.
