In 2022, Versteeg made his mark as a writer and performer with an original solo play about comedian Tommy Cooper at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, winning the Best Actor award and receiving a nomination for Best International Show. This Christmas, he will bring the production to London's Museum of Comedy, alongside his starring role in the Die Hard Christmas parody show, reprising his turn as John McClane after successful runs in LA and New York.
In support of the production, Versteeg released the single "I'm John McClane," raising funds and awareness for Aphasia charities in honor of Bruce Willis.
