Nicole Sarah Fry, a talented 24-year-old filmmaker hailing from the picturesque county of Dorset, has made a name for herself by concentrating on crafting meticulously researched and meticulously produced period-set projects that transport audiences to bygone eras.
Fry's directorial debut, "Desires & Delusions", premiered in 2022, showcasing her skill and attention to detail in recreating the 1810s. This critically acclaimed short film served as a precursor to her subsequent release, "Lies on the Line", which took audiences on a journey back to the 1960s in 2023.
The filmmaker's latest endeavour, "The Lace", set in the late 1880s, marks a new milestone in Fry's career. Funded entirely through Kickstarter, this ambitious project was captured on film during the winter of 2024 and is poised to make its festival debut this summer.
