Nicole Jaffe's illustrious career was largely defined by her exceptional voice-over work, with a notable highlight being her iconic portrayal of the intelligent and book-smart Velma Dinkley in the Scooby-Doo cartoons, a role she held from 1969 to 1973, prior to actress Pat Stevens taking over.
Following the conclusion of The New Scooby-Doo Movies in 1973, Jaffe decided to leave Hanna-Barbera Studios and embarked on a new journey, getting married and eventually becoming an agent for actors and actresses at the prestigious William Morris Agency in 1974. Over the past four decades, Jaffe, now known as Nichole David, has continued to thrive in her role as an agent at the same company, showcasing her dedication and expertise in the industry.
In addition to her notable voice-over work, Jaffe has also made appearances in various films, including Betty Smith, the charming and determined young woman who attempts to win the heart of Elvis Presley in The Trouble with Girls (1969),as well as the free-spirited hippie girl in the dune-buggy in Disney's beloved classic, The Love Bug (1968).
