Nicole Beharie is an accomplished American actress, renowned for her critically acclaimed film debut in the 2008 movie American Violet, where she shared the screen with esteemed actors Alfre Woodard, Tim Blake Nelson, and Will Patton. In addition to her impressive performance in American Violet, Beharie also portrayed the girlfriend of Ernie Davis in the 2008 biographical drama film The Express.

Beharie's upcoming projects include the 2011 film My Last Day Without You and the highly anticipated 2011 drama Shame, directed by Steve McQueen and starring alongside the talented Michael Fassbender.
