Nick Stellate, an actor of Italian heritage, was born in the Bronx projects and raised on Long Island, Pelham Manor, and Mt. Vernon, New York. His childhood was filled with listening to his father's various accents and comedy sketches, which laid the foundation for his future voiceover talents. Cartoons served as his babysitter, giving him an early ear for his voiceover gifts.
Nick's father was part of a group of future entertainers, led by the talented writer and actor Rudy Deluca, who went on to work with Mel Brooks in Hollywood. Over 50 years later, fate brought Rudy into Nick's life in Los Angeles.
Nick began his acting career in 1990 as a non-union extra on Law & Order, and for the next four years, he performed in Murder Mystery shows around the world with now-superstar performers Connie Britton and Aasif Mandvi. He later changed his stage name to Nick Stellate in 2000.
Nick's childhood dreams became a reality in 1996 when he acquired the highly sought-after SAG card. He worked his way up the extra ranks in New York until 1997, when he landed a featured extra role as Renee Zellweger's Hasidic bodyguard in "A Price Above Rubies." This role marked the beginning of his voiceover career, which has since grown to include over 2500 Animation, Video Game, and Film voice characters.
After relocating to Los Angeles in 1998, Nick's acting career began to blossom. He landed lead and supporting roles in feature films and guest and co-starring roles on popular TV shows, working alongside some of the world's most talented performers, including Connie Britton, Paul Sorvino, Eric Roberts, Mickey Rourke, Al Pacino, Viggo Mortensen, Tony Shalhoub, Renee Zellweger, Val Kilmer, Christopher Meloni, and Faye Dunaway.
Nick has produced several projects and continues to act and voice characters, including over 500 character voices on Storychimes for children. He has been living in New York and Los Angeles and dedicates his success to his brother Frankie Stellate, who passed away in 2018.
