Nicholas Scott, a talented television, film, and commercial actor with autism, was born and raised in Pleasant Valley, New York. His journey in the world of acting began in 2017 when his theatre teacher, Sarah Combs, encouraged him to audition for her summer production of Footloose.
Landing the leading role of Willard Hewitt, Nicholas's debut performance marked the beginning of his remarkable acting career. Throughout his high school years, he starred in various musicals, including Heathers, Bring It On, and Mama Mia, showcasing his exceptional talent.
After completing his high school education, Nicholas attended SUNY New Paltz University, but his academic pursuits were disrupted by the pandemic. During this time, he continued to hone his craft by performing in Shakespeare productions and original works via Zoom.
With the pandemic subsiding, Nicholas decided to focus on film and television full-time. He began by working on numerous short films and small projects before landing roles in the feature films Stoner Horror Comedy Ditch Boys, Catfish Christmas, America Gone Viral, and the drama Broken People, directed by Trevor Ketzak.
To further his theatrical education, Nicholas has taken classes at esteemed NYC schools such as the Barrow Group, Kimball Acting Studio, and HB Studio, with the ultimate goal of becoming a full-time professional working actor.
When not pursuing his acting career, Nicholas enjoys spending time with friends, drinking coffee, and watching mixed martial arts.
