Nick was born on October 4, 1980, in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England.
After leaving school, he was offered a place at Cambridge University, but instead chose to pursue his passion for geophysics at the University of Durham, where he graduated with a first-class degree.
During his time at Durham, he became involved in the local comedy circuits and honed his skills, which ultimately led to him joining the Footlights Revue and appearing at the Edinburgh Fringe.
His impressive performance at the Fringe caught the attention of a BBC producer, who offered him radio work, marking the beginning of his successful career in the entertainment industry.
Nick has since appeared in numerous sitcoms, including Miranda (2009),Life's Too Short (2011),and Drifters (2013),where he played the role of the annoying promotions manager.
In 2014, he gained widespread critical acclaim for his portrayal of Mr. Swallow in a comic reworking of Dracula on stage.
Two years later, he reprised his role as Mr. Swallow, this time taking on the role of Harry Houdini, performing nightly in a glass tank, reminiscent of Houdini's famous escapes.
The show, which originated at the Edinburgh Fringe, transferred to London's Soho Theatre in 2017, solidifying Nick's reputation as a talented and versatile performer.
