Nick was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to two educators who instilled in him a strong foundation for his future endeavors. His father, a man of international roots, was born in Diddington, England, to Polish grandparents who had emigrated to the United States after World War II. His mother, a talented musician, grew up in the Philadelphia area where she studied the piano, harp, and organ. The two met at Catholic University, where his father was in the seminary and his mother accompanied the university choir on the piano.
Nick graduated from St. Joe's Prep in 1997 and received a Marquis Scholarship to attend Lafayette College, where he pursued a degree in civil engineering. During his time at Lafayette, he discovered his passion for the performing arts and made his theatrical debut in the production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" in 2001, directed by Michael O'Neill. He graduated with honors in 2001 and went on to study architecture at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, earning a master's degree in 2005.
After a decade-long hiatus from acting, Nick returned to the stage and screen in 2010, training under the guidance of Drucie McDaniel and Rodney Robb. He honed his craft through student film productions at Drexel University, the University of the Arts, and Temple University. Independent filmmakers took notice of his work, casting him as the leading man in numerous web-distributed fan films shot in New York and Philadelphia.
Nick's talent and dedication soon landed him more substantial roles in larger productions, including films and television shows. He was offered his first major role in an independent feature film less than a year after his return to the screen and stage. Today, Nick resides in Philadelphia, where he continues to work as an actor, architect, author, and amateur brewer.
